That’s me in blue.
I love that color. Since the quality of the picture doesn’t give you the idea of the different shades of blue I am wearing, here are the details.
The skirt is blue with two strategically placed black stripes on the side (H&M, would you believe). The woolen T-shirt has a satin finish in the same blue: but the difference in the fabric generates a slightly different nuance (Max & Co., last year collection if I remember). The sweater is my own knitting; I used grey and blue yarn to obtain a peculiar color. I like also that the T-shirt is longer than the sweater… it is kind of my signature to show the different layers this way…
I remember when I was young, saying proudly to my best friend Patrizia: “You see, I all dressed the same color”, and the color was blue. Patrizia never understood. But I sticked with blue. And now that I am the Chic after Fifty ambassador I will also be the ambassador of blue instead of black. Let’s keep black for the very elegant occasions. But for the rest, it is unfortunately true that black makes us look older. We don’t want that, do we?
Helas! Blue is the answer!
