Green is one of my favourite colours. It hasn’t always been that way. To be honest with you, there has been a long period in which I didn’t like to wear colours. I had clothes in white, black and I don’t know how many shades of grey. Not that I don’t still like white, black and grey. But I have come to love some colours, and green is certainly among them.
Yes, a twist of freshness that I feel to be my own, in this moment.
But you know what the Italians say about green? “Chi di verde si veste, di sua beltà molto si fida”. Meaning “if you dare to wear green, you are very confident in your beauty”… which of course I am not!
And now back to the green outfit. The picture isn’t a selfie; this time the blurring comes from the artistic idea of my friend Laura, who is the owner of the sofa and the flat in which she took the picture. As for green, there are so many different greens. I have chosen a T-shirt, that you can glimpse underneath the sweater, of the color of grass in spring; a sweater of a brilliant and plentiful classic green; a grey skirt; bottle green tights. The T-shirt and the green sweater come from the little market in Ancona; the label had been cut, so no brand, sorry. The skirt and the tights come from H&M. The ankle boots are the one you have already seen with the denim skirt, Marco.
