Afternoons are growing longer and the light is dramatically different. No more black coats. No more black. The need for colours is taking over.
Since I don’t really feel like posing and smiling yet, I have taken a photograph of the coat I am wearing today. I am sure you are able to use your imagination to picture myself in it!
You are even having a glimpse of my office… what a privilege! See the books? I didn’t lie telling that I work with books!
And now the little story of the coat. I was visiting a friend of mine (Laura, you migth remember her from a few posts ago, she’s the one who wants to be my personal assistant when I will be rich and famous, and working very hard at that) and on her hall stand there was this coat. I said “nice coat you’ve got there”, and she said “yeah, I never wear it, it doesn’t really fit me, I took it out of the closet but nothing, I can’t wear it”. And the she added “May be it fits you… do you want to try it on?”
And I did. And even if it is a bit big (you can see that I had to roll the sleeves up) I liked the way it looked on me. Laura absolutely wanted me to take it for free (believe me, or ask Laura on Facebook).
As we say in my family, I inherited the coat. For some reason, I love to wear things that friends and family had previously worn… Oh, I was forgetting, the coat’s brand is Rafa Portigò: never heard of it? Neither did Google…
Have a nice afternoon!
