So yes, on the first day of the Easter holiday we went to buy wine. No wine, no party!
We (I mean my sister Maria, my sister-in-law Carlotta and my niece Agnese ) went to Offagna, a pretty medioeval town near Ancona, to a cellar hidden in a stunning old palace, property of the Malacari family. The wine they produce is only red and in some local varieties. We brought with us 3 “dame” (literally “ladies”) to fill, and I bought 6 bottles to bring back to Milano wiht me.
It was a glorious day, bright and clear. No one cloud in the sky (you wonder how the day after was a rainy one..). Mild. Pleasant.
Outside the cellar there were these huge barrels, surely covered in greens during the summer. Carlotta, my sister-in-law took the picture, where I am wearing an orange jacket I bought in California, REI own brand, and a pair of orange trousers I bought in the little market in Ancona last time I came. It was winter and at that time they looked like a splash of bright mood in a wintry grey day. The brand is Heavy Project (very well made, solid cotton, perfect cut). I literally fell in love with them! I am also wearing my brown leather Converse, so comfortable and so laid back… holiday style, really!
Have a nice evening!
