I have been to the hairdresser, last saturday. I don’t go very often, and I don’t particularly enjoy it, but it is important to do it, especially when you are fifty or more… I do like hair to look the most natural. But it is the kind of natural that you conquer with great care!
My hairdresser is in San Giuliano Milanese and it is not a fancy or chic place at all. It would any hairdresser if it wasn’t for the owner, Franco, who I think works wonders with its scissors! He’s been discovered by a friend of mine, Isabella, who used to live there. I worked with her for many years and she was always showing these haircuts that were very simple, with a twist.
I started to go there some years ago, and went for quite a while. Then I got tired of having to drive there and started to torment friends and collegues about their hairstylists. I went from one to another, never completedely satisfied. My friend Isabella did the same, also because she had moved to Monza in the meantime.
And then one day I met Isabella for lunch and she had a very nice haircut. Guess what? She had gone back to Franco… so I did the same. And of course Franco was over the moon: what better, for a shop owner, that a client who comes back?
In the selfie you probably see more the sunglasses than the haircut… don’t you love sunglasses? I have some pairs, but I would buy many more if I could: so if you are an eyewear producer and love to be on my blog, you are very welcome to send me your products! The ones I am wearing today are Persol: one of their classic model. I like the very dark brown of the lenses and the shape so beyond any fashion…
Have a nice day!
