I rarely enter a drugstore or perfume shop. I don’t like the way they xray you and suggest you to buy dozens of different products. I know myself well enough to know that I won’t use them. Out of laziness basically.
But this time it was different. First of all I was in the mood for buying. It had been a long time since I had the time to go shopping, so I felt the right to indulge in something nice for myself. Second, I wanted a lipstick. Third, I needed a product that I remembered having bought in a Sephora store.
I entered the store and bought two lipsticks (you can see the Red Passion in the picture above) and then I moved to look for the other product. I coudn’t remember the name or the brand, so when a nice girl came to me asking what I was looking for, I was instantly perceived and captured as the perfect customer: ready to spend, with vague ideas about products, well kept but not young, etc…
To be honest, the shop assistant was a very nice girl. She wasn’t too pushy, she made me try products very much my style, and when I said enough she kindly stopped… But still, I ended up having bought many things I didn’t need and not the one I needed!
But you know, that’s what shopping is about… and I am very happy about my new lipstick!
