I used to iron quite a lot. Among the chores you have to do in order to keep yourself clean and nice and your home clean and nice, it was the one I preferred. I guess because things were already clean, and the result of the ironing is visible, soft, delicately perfumed, beautiful.
Then recently I haven’t had enough time for it. I know it sounds very much IliveinthecityIworktoomuchIdon’thavetimeforanything but yes, it has been a peculiar time of my life and I didn’t have the time for ironing. And because when you are looking for something you end up finding something, I bumped in an article published on www.donnamoderna.com, containing the secrets for your clothes to look ironed even when they are not. Well, believe me, it is the most useful article I have seen in these last few years! For those of you who read Italian, here’s the link: http://www.donnamoderna.com/casa/fai-da-te/trucchi-non-stirare-mai
And now a little thing I love: do you remember my post about spending a lot of money in Sephora? Well among the purchases there was this Puff off, by Benefit, a special product to smooth the wrinkles underneath the eyes… that iron shape of the dispenser is just delightful, don’t you think? And it contains a lot of irony!
Have a nice day!
