I suppose the first thing you will notice will be the jeans with the high heels. Did I say no to jeans and high heels. I am pretty sure I did.
But guess what? I made an exception. And I’ll tell you why.
This is kimono number three. Light silk, black with little dots that became more intense toward the hem. Beautiful. Sort of elegant. Ideal for a romantic date. So I had to combine it with something… something how exactly?
Let’s start from the beginning. Suppose you have been invited on a date. You don’t know much of the guy, you might like him or you might not, you want to give the right impression anyway. You don’t want to appear different from what you, do you?
So I chose a stripy T-shirt (an old Zara‘s) and my skinny ankle lenght jeans (Calvin Klein). What about shoes? I needed something pretty but not banal. Like ballerinas. Ballerinas would have been the obvious choice. But I don’t want to give the impression that I go for the obvious.
Who came to my help? Laura of course. Still hoping to get that job as my personal assistant the day I will be rich and famous (by the way, have you spread out the news about my blog?), I suppose… Anyway she gave me these vintage shoes by Fagnani, absolutely uncomfortable but quite pretty. They will do, unless your romantic date ask you to go for a walk… and you can always say no!
Have a nice day!
