In fact today is the second day of Bookcity, but it is the first for me. I remember last year it was raining cats and dogs and elephants, all the three days of the event. Believe me, it was a nightmare! Also because Bookcity is spread all over the city, and if you have to go from one location to another things could get pretty complicated, with the traffic and buses etc.
But this year it seems to be particularly mild and pleasant. And I will start softly, with a first day of taking authors to places and organising interviews. And I will probably finish around 7.30, with plenty of time to go to the Malpensa airport to pick up my sister!
So how to dress? You want to be comfortable and chic and #50chic and #chicafter50, don’t you?
I decided to go for a skirt, and for something green, which is one of my favourite colours. I have this nice green long sleeved T-shirt that you don’t see, and I combined it with an old grey skirt (H&M) that I have thought to give away but fortunately didn’t, and the grey and green sweater I made myself a few years ago. I had bought a pair of stockings of a blue/green (I guess is called petroleum), and they fit perfecty! The outfit would have been perfect with the suede blue/grey ankle boots, but they have a heel and they are not good to walk around a lot. So I reverted to the flat ankle boots!
And now, a quick #selfieinthekitchen, and I am ready to go.
Have a nice day!
