Yes, I am already hearing you, saying Katherine Hepburn used to wear silk blouses or shirt and brogues… while here I am with my Converse All Star and my white T-shirt and a little hand made sweater!

Well, Katherine Hepburn was the inspiration! What I liked about her was her way to be chic and feminine without needing high heel, fitting dresses etc.

So Bookcity is gone, and it has been tiring and interesting. I like to listen to interesting people talk about books, I like to observe the way they move, the passion they have (or don’t have) and pass on, their dedication. I like to go around town, discover new landscapes and perspectives. I like to meet in person people I work with, usually through email and phone. I like the busy, brisk atmosphere of Milano at its best. I like that it happens in autumn, that nostalgic and sad and sweet season.

What now? Well, lots of books to read and work on. House hunting to get back to. The new blog to work on: I am in the difficult process of chosing things for myself… The daily #selfieinthekitchen. Life with its unexpected events!
