Where has all the light gone? This is what I was singing to myself this morning…  all the light along with the flowers…are you too young to remember Joan Baez?

Anyway, this is the way my #selfieinthekitchen are going to look, unless I find a light trick. Fall is here. Daylight is poor and grey. I need to learn how to use the artificial light in the kitchen… I will! Pardon me, in the meantime!

As for the clothes, well, I am not prepared to autumn! This morning, while I was shivering out of bed and looking at the rain through the window, I thought I wished I had a bigger wardrobe: not to store more clothes but to have them better ranged, and find what I need real quick. There are still tank tops and light skirts and sandals organized to be a hand, that it took me quite a lot of time to find something warm enough for the day! Not that I am a great organizer, but I love my clothes and I take very good care of them… There is a beautiful book by Haruki Murakami, I have read it a long time ago but I think it was The wind-up bird chronicle, in which the protagonist, who’s wife desappear, remembers and remains attached and faithful to her through her clothes, perfectly ranged in the wardrobe… I had the image of this perfect Japanese closet!

And what I ended up wearing today? Jeans by Calvin Klein, a T-shirt by Zara and a stripy cardigan by Gap, grey Converse All Star and a leather jacket I bought in the sales last summer, by Daniel & Mayer. Keep it simple forever!

Have a nice day!
