It took me a while to choose the #selfieinthekitchen of today.
I think you imagine how I work for my selfies: I have a fixed set (which spares me to wake up too earlier than usual!) and then I take a number of pictures, in slightly different poses, to be sure to have at least one that is good enough to be published. When I think I have enough, I take a quick look at the pictures on the phone, to be really really sure.
Then I am off for work.
During lunch break I choose the picture and write my little story and go for publishing real quick.
Sometimes I don’t like most of the pictures and so the choice is very easy. Sometimes, like today, there are two pictures that I find both good, and so it takes me an effort to decide which one to keep. But I always manage to make a choice… that’s life, isn’t it?
Today on my way to work I also realized that everything I was wearing comes from America… not too strange, you would think, knowing me as I am sure you do by now!
The long sleeved T-shirt is a new one, I bought it in Pasadena in a store that was going out of business and so had a big sale on. I like the color and the flowery texture. I don’t particularly like the fact that the back is longer that the front… I have noticed this trend also in Italy, and frankly speaking I don’t see it so flatterly. What do you think?
The grey T-shirt you barely see underneath is an old Banana Republic one.
The skirt is also a new entry: a very dark denim, soft and rich in Elastam so to be incredibly comfortable. It comes from Banana Republic and is a gift from my sister! And the shoes are the ones I bought at J. Crew for the event in Pasadena…
Have a nice day!
