Chic After Fifty

Busy busy day, today.

Work, and then an event that I have organized in a bookstore, and then it is the Vogue Fashion Night Out and I am invited to a shop owned by some friends. And I have to find some magazines for the event that I will held next Thursday at the EnotecaWine. And then I have to start preparing the reading I will held in two saturdays… and in the meantime, my blog reached more than 10.000 visitors! Unbelievable!

How to celebrate? With a glass of good wine for sure, but not in the morning!

To pamper myself and start the day with the usual #selfieinthekitchen I am wearing a silk shirt, a true caress on my skin, over a new pair of jeans (DKNY) that I have chosen uncaracteristically worn out. I bought these jeans in America: you know I like the very dark ones, but this time I was attracted by this pair, who knows why, and I think they fit me pretty well. I also decided to cut them at the lenght I like, instead of rolling them. Nice effect, isn’t it?

I completed the outfit with a beige little cardigan (Weekend Max Mara), a “soprabito” (Antonio Fusco), the blue desert boots and the yellow straw “coppola” I bought in Livorno at the beginning of the summer.

I am quite satisfied, yes.
