It might be today, tomorrow, any day soon: temperatures will drop just a bit more, and good bye bare legs!
So even though this morning wasn’t properly warm or mild, I thought I might as well wear a skirt with soquettes… it could be months before I could wear them again!
And I tell you, I have been a lover and a wearer of brogues with soquettes for years now. Ask my friends and collegues if you don’t believe me!
Here I am posing for my #selfieinthekitchen: grey cardigan by Matucci, black T-shirt by Zara, stripy skirt by Banana Republic, brogues by Max Mara and soquettes… who knows by whom? By the way, I am reading the famous The life-changing magic of tidying up (the japanese art of decluttering and organizing) by Marie Kondo and I am curious to see if, at one point, she mentions the disappearing of sock in the washing machine: I was tiding up my sock and stockings last Sunday, and there were a number of single socks I couldn’t explain!
The reason I am reading the book is not only personal interest, but also the fact that next Saturday I’ll be doing a reading on “books and fashion” and reading about “how to dress to stay home” from that book. If you want to come, it starts at 12 at IdeaAmi, via Lanzone 23 in Milano. The event is organized by Vavél, a fashion and design show, and I will tell you more about it in the next few days. But save the date!
And have a nice day!
