Thank God somebody invented the boots!

Today it rains. It actually started yesterday evening and it never stopped. Sometimes it is more a drizzle than a proper rain. Still, you have to dress accordingly…

I like to wear skirts and boots when it rains. I have also always had in mind to buy a pair of Hunters, for the very rainy days, but then when I pass by a store where they sell them the weather is sunny, and when it rains I don’t feel like going for shopping!

But my old and battered Camperos do their job pretty well. And they are easy to combine… here for instance, for my #selfieinthekitchen with artificial light, I am wearing them with a stripy skirt (H&M), a blue T-shirt (Gap) and a sweater I made myself. I know it looks simple and with no effort involved. And it is simple. But also carefully studied: the skirt, being stretch and of the kind that stresses every flaw, is a size bigger; the T-shirt is long enough to cover the hips and is longer than the sweater; the sweater is short but large…. Nothing has been left to chance!

Of course I have a trench on top of everything, but I’ll show it to you another time!

Have a nice day!
