Chic After Fifty

So, yes, we have moved from comfort clothes to business clothes… in just one day!

Seriously, looking at this picture I feel like the business woman getting ready for her busy day: giving orders to the nanny and the cook, having already checked her emails and talked to her associates, because it is already 8 o’clock, and they say one of the keys of success is to get up very early in the morning!

Well, I get up quite early, even too early for my body and mind which always protest for being disturbed in the middle of their repose. And I can consider myself successful, since I do things I like, I meet interesting people often enough, I write freely about what I want on different blogs, I happily smile every morning for my #selfieinthekitchen… isn’t that the real measure of success?

But let’s get back to what I am wearing: the pants are from Banana Republic, the T-shirt from Comptoir des Cotonniers, the jacket is Marella. The shoes are inherited and have no brand, but are very pretty. And even though, generally speaking, I don’t like pants with high heels, I make an execption for these pants and these ankle boots! And I feel enough #50chic and #chicafter50 to meet my day!
