How to wear a grey skirt in a #50chic way. In Milano. On Friday

I have bought this skirt in Ancona, at that lovely little market where I hope to go next Monday: I will go there to visit my relatives. The crazy thing is I am going through Livorno, if through could be the right word: it will be Livorno-Firenze-Bologna-Ancona. It is like crisscrossing Italy, with the good collateral effect of having time to read. I love reading on the train…

Let’s go back to the skirt (Aspesi): I have had it for three or even four years and I have always loved the masculine fabric and the shape like a pair of men’s pants. But I had lost some weight in the last couple of years and until I regained it it was just too big!

For the #selfieinthekitchen, and for the day, I am wearing a white T-shirt (Hanes) and the handmade sweater you have already seen. I have also the black ankle boots with the heels I used a lot last year (Marco), and a pair of dark grey stockings. The belt is Orciani.

Simple simple, #50chic and #chicafter50 with no doubt.
