Chic After Fifty

  Here I am, I have just boarded the train. Livorno to Florence is the first leg of my long trip to Ancona. Then it will be Florence to Bologna and then Bologna to Ancona… Italy is that strange country that it’s easier to travel north-south than across, east-west. 
I will spend most of my time reading, just being careful not to miss my stop… I have done it more than once! 

Before immersing myself in a book, I have taken a #selfieonthetrain: you can see I keep my #50chic and #chicafter50 style, with a blue jacket and a grey scarf. Underneath I have a light grey handmade sweater, a pair of faded jeans, and my Dr. Martens. Comfy, above all!

And here is my light luggage: an Eastpakck and a soft leather bag.
