Today I went to the Vatican Museums. The line was quite long, even though, apparently, it is usually much longer. The trick with the queu is once you are there you feel if you go away you lost any advantage you have gained, so you stick there until finally you reach your goal… It took us one hour and a half…
The Vaticans Museums are as big as a city, and unfortunately some of the rooms wee closed, but the sole Cappella Sistina is worth the visit. You realize that Rome is the only place where the Universal Judgement could be represented in such a human and messy way. You can really feel the desperation and the fear of th end.
And then outside there was the soft and sweet light in which Rome is bathed even when clouds are gathering in the sky!
I am wearing my sheepskin jacket, a pair of black pants, a blue sweater and a blue scarf. A comfy version of the #chicafter50 and #50chic style.
Have a nice day!
