We discussed gurus, yesterday, remember? And the quest for certainties, outside or inside yourself.

Well, today in front of my wardrobe I was the portrait of uncertainty. Strange, isn’t it?

But I have reasons, plenty of them. First of all, most of my clothes are in the boxes. It is true that everything that is on hangers is staying where it is (they have some special boxes for that) until the last day. But still, I have kept only a pair of boots and the Blunstones as shoes… it wasn’t very wise, but I don’t even want to think about opening a box!

So the Blundstones were my only certainty, or constraint should I say… And I didn’t feel like a keep it simple sort of outfit, like jeans and sweater (also because I will go away for the weekend, and wear the jeans on that occasion). I felt like something peculiar, something strange. Something out of the box! And here’s the solution I came up with: the ecoleather culottes, which I haven’t been wearing much this winter because I didn’t know which shoes to wear them with. Blundstones were the answer! And then a cachemire stripy little pullover, and the black jacket that seems to be the fil rouge of this week: probably because it is very warm! And believe me, these are really the coldest days of the year: “giorni della merla” we call them here in Italy.

Have I been faithful to my #50chic and #chicafter50 style? I believe so.

And do you like my composition with the multiple #selfieinthekitchen with boxes?

Have a nice day!
