So yesterday I went to hike. It was a very hot day, and the hike was beautiful but very very very tiring. We went from 450 mt above sea level to 1500, and it went up quite quickly… but I had done this kind of things before. Only the heat was too much, and the level of humidity huge! And I had my usual hiking boots, usually comfortable. But maybe it was the heat again, or all the stones on the path, I ended up with aching feet!

And this morning, despite of the fact that we had a refreshing thunderstorm during the night, it’s quite hot again. So I chose a skirt, that I bought at Mango a couple of years ago, and a light long-sleeve T-shirt (I bought it in Pietrasanta, where my company used to host a literary festival called Anteprime) of a beautiful green. I love green and light blue together… do you? But no way I could fit a pair of proper shoes in my feet! And then I remembered that I had inherited a pair of Birkenstock… perfect!

I know most people think Birkenstock are horrible. I personally think they are the kind of things that are so completely ugly that they became beautiful! Because they are what they are. They don’t try to be anything different. As do the Crocs! Yes I am a great fan of Birkenstock and Crocs.

Have a nice day!
