It really is unbearably hot. You can’t believe it. Hot and humid and sticky. So unpleasant!

When I came back home yesterday evening, guess what was the first thing that happened to me? The fan broke! Actually, it sort of broke: I am very lucky to have an engineer who lives downstairs whom I exploit every time I have some DIY to do. I personally am hopeless. He has a big toolbox and is very competent and very nice. So he managed to make the fan working at least for the night!

Don’t think I didn’t try to buy a new fan: but it was very late and the places I tried had run out of them!

And this morning I woke up quite early and did a bit of tiding up that I didn’t have the strenght to do yesterday, and I dressed. The skirt I am wearing, the one I bought in Pola when I was vacationing in Croatia, is the lightest I have, and the white Zara T-shirt is light cotton and large. I am wearing a pair of very comfortable espadrilles, and the paper earring made by Verde Alfieri. I feel white and light colors keep the hot at bay… may be it is just an idea!
