Anna da Re 15 luglio12

It is still so hot in Milano that this morning I thought I had to wear a cool top. Then I remembered that, during the last swap party I have attended, I had spotted a pretty silk top, and since it didn’t fit anybody, I had got it. The color was pretty too, even though unusual for me.

And because the color was unusual for me and for my wardrobe, I didn’t know what to wear it with.

And then I had a sudden memory of a pair of pants I had a tailor make for me… I had bought a piece of beautiful silk fabric, the type usually employed for ties. At the time I had another pair of trousers, tailor-made from a piece a silk I had bought somewhere, so I went to a tailor with the new fabric and asked him to make me a pair exactly like the ones I had. To be honest with you, as soon as I picked them up I had the feeling they had too much of a pajamas look… so they ended up in the wardrobe, hidden underneath another pair of pants. But you know, some things ask you not to be thown away…

The last piece of my outfit are a new pair of espadrilles. Again, I was looking for a bright green and I found only this color… it looks perfect with this ensemble!

Have a nice day!
