Are you saying there’s no such thing as a dress down Wesnesday? I think you are right.

But today it feels sort of Friday, to me. I am leaving in two days… does this justify me? I hope so.

So back to #selfieinthekitchen with a very relaxed attitude. Finally the heat has calmed down and we are breathing. The wind in the morning is even a bit chilly… such a pleasant sensation!

And there is also a bearably perceptible change in the light. Especially in the evening: it gives you the feeling that we have passed the peak of summer and we are slowly descending into fall. Summer is so brief! And as soon as the heat has relented I realized how I would miss the buzz of the cicadas and that misty sight of the plain around Milano.

What about clothes? This a fashion blog, after all!

I am wearing a grey T-shirt by Zara (quite a thick one), military green (do you say that?) pants by Gap (I bought them last summer in California) and blue espadrilles. Since the day appeared to be cloudy, I took a jacket with me: a blue silk shirt-jacket by the milanese store Fatto a mano. Here you see how it would look:
