Skirts are women’s best friends… do you agree?

And what do you think of this one? I love it!

I bought it in the summer sales in Milano (at Max & Co), a few days before leaving for the States. I hadn’t had the chance to wear it, up until today. You don’t see it very well, even though the #selfieinthekitchen is of a certain quality, but it’s made of a sort of plastic, with a lattice or web effect. Very beautiful, believe me! You shall see on Instagram, when I will post a close up of the fabric.

I also like the color, and the fact that it has a dark blue underskirt to compensate for the transparency. Actually it is possibile that it will look even better with stockings underneath… we will see when the time will come!

The blue T-shirt is by Zara and you have seen it already. The small blue cardigan (you have seen that too) comes from Pennyblack and has been one of the things I have worn more often this summer. I have put on a tiny pearls’ choker that used to be my great-ant’s.

The espadrilles are the ones from Marco I wear when I feel like high heels… today it might be because I have been hiking for a couple of days, and I needed a very city outlook! By the way, the hiking was wonderful, just over the Lago Maggiore. You will find pictures of it on my Facebook wall later on!
