Chic After Fifty

I have come back a week and the weather it’s already turning toward fall… and you can see the #selfieinthekitchen showing more and more layers… I am exagerating, I know.

But the quality of the light has already changed: I love the roundness and softness of  September! It has a sweetness, a mellow melancholy that grows every day.

As for the temperature, it’s dropped 10 degrees in a week. Not that I am complaining: I have been so hot in July that I won’t never again complain about the cold! But believe me, bare legs are beginning to feel cold, especially in the morning.

So today I am wearing the pants that look like a skirt or the skirt that look like pants. One of my favourite pieces of clothes, by the way. I bought it in Zara, remember? Over I am wearing a basic white T-shirt and a little cotton cardigan by Pennyblack. And the shoes are the ones I bought a J.C. Crew in Pasadena. Again, a #keepitsimple approach to dressing always works, for me!
