Yes, today I am very satisfied about my outfit. Do I look like it? I will be sincere with you, and tell you that yesterday I wasn’t. I will also tell you why. Which can be a useful clue for the future!

I admit that yesterday I felt cold and the rain outside wasn’t particularly inspiring. But rain itself can suggest very interesting outfits indeed… as the British used to say: “There is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes”.

But the key is to think seriously about what to wear and to be creative. Yes, to be creative. Think outside the box. Avoid the combination that you have already used. That’s the effort of a fashion blog, I suppose. Or at least the effort of a fashion blog that tries to be personal and not just the showcase for brands.

But enough with that. Let’s go back to clothes and #selfieinthekitchen!

You recognize the skirt I worn last week. It is a skirt (Max & Co) I selected very carefully and like very much. The first combination was somewhat banal: high heels, blue T-shirt. I wanted something stronger. So despite my “no black” rule I put on two black T-shirt, a short sleeved small one (an old one with no label) and a bigger long sleeved one (Zara). I liked the effect. And then it was the shoes’ moment. Shoes are fundamental (in every sense: do you remember the movie by Wim Wenders, “Paris, Texas” where the protagonist, as a symbolic representation of his coming back to normal life, cleans all the shoes in the house?) and I tried two or three different ones before coming up with the idea of the slip-in (Barrito). I know you have already seen them, and liked them. But today I feel they are really at their best!

What do you think?

While you think, have a nice day!
