This is me this morning.

Not aware at all of the storm that was to hit town in a little while.

I was undecided between the Barrito shoes and the J. Crew ones. I had just opted for the J. Crew, done the #selfieinthekitchen, and was collecting my stuff when some strange sounds struck me and convinced me to look outside the window… big drops of rain were pushed everywhere by a strong wind…the storm! Announced by all sorts of weather forecasts… which I never take a look at!

I was forced to change shoes and pants very quickly, and the choice I made wasn’t very wise: long and large pants with the Converse All Star… by the time I reached the office I was so totally drenched and cold and miserable that I am still recovering! I mean, really, my shoes are still wet!

I kept the upper part of the outfit you see: the white T-shirt (Hanes) with the black cardigan (Banana Republic). The lower part doesn’t satisfy me at all: the pants that looked black in the dim light of the corridor are blue, the earrings I had just bought I left at home. As for the brunch organized by Flair I was supposed to go, well, the traffic was crazy and the bus didn’t pass so I just thought better to come straight to the office!

The only good thing is my hair: the flat effect caused by yesterday’s hat has completely gone away!

Have a nice day!

… this morning’s storm was terrible. Fortunately I always keep an extra pair of shoes in the office (i even had a choice between ballerinas and sneakers) and my boss, luckily, managed to bring me a dry pair of sweatpants. You can guess I was really chic… 😉 but I was dry and that made my day!
