There is this thing in Italy, called “il cambio del guardaroba“, a sort of a ritual to be held twice a year, before summer and then at the end of summer. I suppose if you live in Los Angeles or in Britain or in any other place where there isn’t that sharp difference between seasons, it doesn’t mean anything to you.
But as you know I live in Milano (even though I would very much like to live in Los Angeles) and so twice a year a do my duty and move my clothes from the top of the wardrobe to the bottom or from one side to the other. Friday night I was out with a couple of friends and one of them suggested me to show my wardrobe to my readers: basically to give them the idea of how limited it is and how ingenious it is to invent something new with the same old things. Which is not entirely true…
I realised that to show my wardrobe is a very intimate gesture, one I am not really prepared to do.
But since today I have done, at least partially, “il cambio del guardaroba”, I decided to let you have a glimpse of my wardrobe… I am sure you recognise some things!
As for what I am wearing today, I am still at home, working at my computer and drinking coffee. I have a pair of grey track pants with a grey fleece: it is colder at home than outside! And of course I am also wearing my green Crocs… I know some people asked me to write something about how to dress at home: but again, is it a quite intimate thing, I am not prepared yet! But since I am working on the new blog, there will be plenty of space for that.
Have a nice Sunday!
