Yes, I know, it seems easy to be happy on Friday. But it is not always true: think about the week-end syndrome that affect the singles, for instance. As for dressing to be happy, is it true for anyone?

But I have my secret recipe for happiness, and no, I am not going to tell you. Not because I don’t want to. Just because everyone has to find his own secret recipe. There is no passing the wisdom from one generation to the other…

But to dress in a way that you feel yourself at ease and at your best and #50chic and #chicafter50 does work. See my smile? You can have it too!

Today I am wearing the Zara culottes, the ecoleather ones. My friend Arianna Chieli has done a video tutorial on how to wear culotte or cropped pants: she is a professional, so if she says they are difficult, you’ve got to believe her! You can check the tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgZKfsXMDeQ

I do love to wear culottes. I think these, so similar to a skirt, are easier. With a T-shirt and a very small, or cropped, sweater, the trick is done! As for the shoes, I am using my old brogues, but I think I will buy a new pair, with a thicker sole and a bolder look. You see, there is always a need to update, this is the way fashion works!

Before whishing you a very good day, a little note on the T-shirt: I thought of giving it away, since it was old and I felt I wanted some bigger T-shirts, but then I thought not yet. And I was right, because with this type of culottes you need very small T-shirts!

Have a nice day!
