I was checking the picture I had taken this morning and I noticed a particularly bright smile… I suppose it must be the fact that I am Under the Influence of a Book!

Yes, today is #selfieinthekitchen but also #selfiewithbook.

And what a book!

I am holding the proofs of City of fire, the book of the moment, the literary event, a debut which has been payed thousands of dollars by publishers all over the world. It is 900 pages long, it will be more than 1.000 in Italian. It will be published by the publisher I work for, and that explains why I have the proofs (the book is already out in the States and in Great Britain). They are in English, and I am very happy about it, because it is a very difficult book, with a rich and inventive language which is a real challenge for me. And I love a challenge when I find it!

As for the today outfit, I am wearing the skirt Aztechi style (Pimkie) you should have seen last year. I love its corolla shape, while the colors are difficult to match; I end up wearing it always with the beige cachemire sweater (J for James) and a black T-shirt (Benetton). It becomes more #50chic and #chicafter50 with the black stockings (Philippe Matignon) and the flat ankle boots (Zara).
