And so this is winter… hat time! I love hats. I have always loved them, and there was a time when I had collected a good number of them, mostly vintage. Why did I give them away? I don’t know. I guess every time you move from a flat to another, there are things you feel are belonging to the past, and you don’t want them to encumber you new life. Because at least for me, every move is a way of marking a change in my life…
So I am now in the process of accumulating new hats! Actually the one I am wearing today is an Irish tweed cap I bought in Seattle a few years ago (America is my theme, you see). It is the perfect hat for this season: not very warm, waterproof, blueish… And this is my interpretation: wearing it wrong way round, with a beret effect. I think it works very well!
What else can we see in this #selfieinthekitchen? The blue jacket (Antonio Fusco) I mentioned yesterday, a denim skirt (Banana Republic), black stockings and flat ankle boots. Simple, #50chic, #chicafter50, supereasy!
And outside it is a beautiful day. Clear, bright but with the sweetness of autumn. I wish I could take a walk in a park, step on the fallen leaves, contemplate the colors… well, maybe in the weekend.
Have a nice day!
