Chic After Fifty

Dark morning, isn’t it? No way to take a #selfieinthekitchen with the natural light. But it is November, days are shorter and shorter; it is Milano, and fog is one the landmark of this place. I do what I can!

I am back from my crisscrossing of Italy. I came back yesterday evening, with a very efficient train, directly from Ancona to Milano. There have been some significant improvements, in the trains travelling in this country, lately. Which makes me more and more willing to travel by train. I adore it!

And I start my week on Tuesday, which I don’t mind at all. It is true that I found an enormous quantity of emails to answer, but still, I could work 4 days a week instead of 5… couldn’t you?

I went to the little market in Ancona, as promised. Monday is not their best day, but with a careful look you can always find something! What do you think about this stripy cachemire sweater? I think is lovely! I have no idea about the brand, but I know that it satisfies my desire of something soft, colored, and new!

I am wearing it with a skirt I bought two or three years ago (strange memory I have, I am sorry) in Glasgow in Jigsaw, a British chain that sells very beautiful clothes, if not inexpensive… Black stocking and black boots to complete the outfit, nothing new.
