Chic After Fifty

You might see that the smile for this #selfieinthekitchen doesn’t have the usual brightness, and it is true, because I just had a fight with my iPhone.

Even thought it is quite new, it behaves like an old husband: he can’t find the remote control device with the blue tooth when it has it by its side! Like my father who couldn’t find the socks, which had been in the same drawer for thirty years!

And I know they tell you you’re crazy when you speak to your iPhone (or your computer or your iPad) as if it was a person… but lots of people do it. Are we all crazy? Or it is just that “nobody’s normal, if you look close enough”?

But let’s talk about clothes. It is cold and rainy and dark, today. I am wearing my orange pants with a cachemire sweater I bought in Ancona last week, a raincoat I bought in Ancona a couple of years ago, and the Blundstones. I should be ready for winter, still being #chicafter50 and #50chic! In fact when I went out I realized I was cold (I still am), but it was late and didn’t have the time to go back and change… I’ll try to be wiser tomorrow.
