Yesterday I was very impressed when my sister sent me a message with her Thanksgiving thoughts. She had really gotten the meaning of Thanksgiving and she was listing all things she was grateful for.
So I thought I could do the same.
It won’t be too personal, since this is a fashion blog, after all!
But let’s be grateful to live in an era of plenty and to have a great choice of everything. Let’s be grateful to be able to care and write about clothes, not having more pressing and fundamental things to be worried about. Let’s be grateful to be in good health and shape. Let’s be grateful to have a smartphone, an internet connection, work to do, an office to go, a project or many projects to think about.
I could go on forever. But I told you, I don’t want to get too personal.
And what about today’s #selfieinthekitchen? Kind of dress down Friday, it is, with a pair of jeans (Calvin Klein), a blue T-shirt (Zara) and a handmade cardigan (which is quite big ,therefore needs some sort of skinny pants to compensate). I had been undecided between the Zara ankle boots and the Dr Martens, and finally decided for the latter. To be #50chic and #chicafter50!
Have a nice day, and don’to forget to think about all the people and things you could be grateful for!

I love Thanksgiving: it is a positive exercise to stop and think of how much beauty fills our lives. In particular for me, since I indulge in complaining a bit too often.
I join you in being grateful for living in an era of plenty, in all its nuances!
Have a great day 🙂
