Yes, I know, may be it isn’t the discovery of the century… But if you give me a little bit of your time I will explain what I mean.
There was a time when Twitter was brand new and very exciting and I registered myself very soon. At that time Twitter Italia didn’t exist, and I found difficult to write in English and didn’t know what to write. Then Twitter Italia came along and I started to write in Italian, and started also, slowly, to grow the number of my followers.
Then I started the blog Ciabattine and then ChicAfterFifty, with the correspondent Facebook Pages. And finally last summer I started to seriously work with Instagram. Twitter, which I still love a lot, became less important.
And you know what? Amongst the social networks I am present on, Twitter is the one where I am growing faster! I don’t do much there: just write something every now and then. A quote. A thought. A picture.
While on this blog, and on Instagram, I am profusing sweat and tears! But I guess there is one of those mathematical effects, like that the bigger you are the bigger you grow…
Let’s go back to clothes. I am wearing a denim pencil skirt I bought last summer at Banana Republic but hadn’t worn yet, with a handmade light grey sweater. When I decided to put the Blundstones on, I wasn’t sure they would look okay: then I took the #selfieinthekitchen and thought, yes, they fit. Not a very dress down friday, but a simple #chicafter50 and #50chic. And I am quite satisfied!
Have a nice day!
