Now, I see this picture is badly cut. But don’t think it is because of a hangover! When I was selecting the daily picture for the #selfieinthekitchen, I thought this strange expression of mine was nice, and the hell with the cuts!
Let me tell you about orange wine. Did you ever heard about it? I hadn’t.
Yesterday evening I went out for an aperitif with a friend of mine. She had chosen the Bicerin, a wine bar near Porta Venezia which I find particularly pleasant. It has a very warm and cozy atmosphere, nice chairs and armchairs, an interesting selection of wines and a owner willing to explain you what you are going to drink. That’s how we discovered that orange wines do not only exist, but are almost thousand years old, born out of Georgia (not the American one!) and then spread all over Europe. Italy is actually one of the main exporters of orange wine!

We had this glass of Falanghina, very very orange but very very good!
And to stay warm and cozy today too, I am wearing a supersoft handmade cachemire cardigan, with a grey T-shirt (Subdued) and grey pants (Whipcord). My feet are warm and happy too, tucked inside the Blundstones!
Have a nice day!
