Chic After Fifty

I have mixed feelings about Christmas.

Always had. I have long been fascinated by the TV representation, those happy families at a sumptuous table, the kids rushing to get their presents under the tree, the surprises, the smiles, the coziness. When I was a kid, we spent half of our Christmas day travelling, since we have always lived in a different city from all our relatives. Then for many years I used to spent the Christmas day and the Christmas holidays travelling because I wanted to be away from the fake celebrations of a happy family life that never existed.

So you see Christmas is not an easy time for me. But I think I share those feeling with a lot of other people… I have written about it also in my article on Giorni Moderni, just published.

What about now? Well, I am going to visit my relatives in Ancona, and will have a Swedish Christmas!

As for today, I have quite a festive skirt, slightly glittering: it is by Promod and I love it! A grey T-shirt (Zara) and grey sweater (Benetton) are perfetct with it: #50chic and #chicafter50! And did you notice the #selfieinthekitchen? I was getting a bit bored, so I am trying different poses… tell me if you like it!
