Chic After Fifty

Fashion categories are sometimes funny. Like this glam-rock definition: widely used, but what does it exactly define? I usually restrain myself from using fashion words. But today I made an exception: because for some reason, once I was dressed, I thought this outfit looks very much glam-rock! Am I becoming a true fashion addict? I hope not! I am here to tell stories, basically…

Remember yestarday I told you I wanted to wear jeans with high heels but couldn’t find the right pair and ended up with a skirt? Well, when I went home in the evening, I pursued my quest for the right jeans to wear with the high heel ankle boots: no, no, I didn’t buy anything, don’t worry! I just cut a pair I had bought last summer in California!

So this morning when I woke up I already knew what to wear. The jeans are quite dark and come from DKNY, the ankle boots are Marco’s (I used them last year too). What to combine them with? I finally chose a brownish cachemire sweater I don’t wear much exactly because it’s brownish… and the blue jacket (Germano Zama) I bought a few months ago at the little market in Ancona, my clothes pusher!

I am sure this outfit is #50chic and #chicafter50. Is it also glam-rock? You tell me!
