Chic After Fifty

It’s Friday, finally! The perfect dressdown Friday. And I am leaving Milano and leaving my flat, which has become absolutely inusable.

Yesterday I came home very tired and hungry (I even told my Twitter followers about it!), I made myself a simple pasta and then filled up some more boxes. I went through a good part of the bookshelves, which was easy since, at the moment, I don’t own many books. I used to, and I have carried them form flat to flat, until it came a time in which I had to separate from all those beloved books. They had became a burden more than a resource. Now, I read mostly on my iPad: I have all the books in just one device, and find it great! I still love paper books, of course, and some of them are so beautiful it is hard to resist the temptation to buy them. Plus I love bookstores… but for now I stick with my decision to travel, and move, lightly!

I am wearing the DKNY faded jeans (I must have written in a previous article that I like dark jeans, and it is true, so those are an exception) and the warmest cardigan I have: it is handmade, it is a bit too big, but so soft and warm, once you have it on you would never ever  want to come out of it! Underneath I have a long sleeve blue T-shirt. And of course I am wearing the Blundstone… what else do I have outside the boxes?
