Anna da Re7

Welcome to my kitchen! Here I am doing my usual selfie before going out.

Do you remember yesterday I was telling you about the debate on the “milanese” style?

Well, one of the must of the milanese, according to the article in Corriere.it, Come sembrare milanese senza esserlo, was to mix different tones of beige.

And guess what? Today I am all in beige!

I rarely wear beige. Not that I don’t like the color, it just doesn’t go with my complexion. But I inherited this pretty cotton cardigan (by Matucci) and I today I found a way to wear it. I started with the pied-de-poule beige on beige trousers (Heavy Project, I have also a pair of orange ones, and they are incredibly well made), which I love but find difficult to wear. The cotton is quite heavy so they are warm, but the color is light and summery, so they are really in between… The white cardigan is viscose, a material I really love to have against my skin, and is by Niama. I quite like white and beige together, but of course I felt the necessity of a strong detail… my electric blue desert boots!

Do I look very milanese? Or do I have a bit of parisian flair?

Tell me… and in the meantime have a nice day!

Chic outfit! I have the same problem with beige, I feel totally beige, hair and complexion included, so the white shirt is a great atout! I vote for a New Yorker’s appeal… remember in Sex and the City… Natasha? 🙂 HiddenHipster
