Chic After Fifty

It is quite hot to be only the beginning of June… yesterday evening it was hard to sleep, so hot and humid it was. I managed to sleep, eventually, but I was very tired when the alarm rang!

So I chose to wear something light and easy and white. The T-shirt comes from H&M and I love its box shape and the very short sleeves. The skirt comes from Pula, Istria, where I went on holiday a couple of years ago… I went shopping with a friend of mine, and bought this skirt and a dress (which I love, but since it’s a bit short it needs to be worn with a pair of trousers or leggings), both very nice and unbelievebly cheap! And I love to shop when I am on holiday… you find different clothes, and when you wear them, once back home, you remember the holiday and the little story that each item of your wardrobe is eager to tell…

The sandals come from Marco, a store in Milano I have mentioned before. I bought them last summer: after three years during which I couldn’t wear any sandals because I was curing my valgus problem, I was finally free and bought two pair of sandals! Unfortunately last summer wasn’t a real summer, it was rainy and cold all the time. So I saved the sandals for this year, and here I am. Aren’t they stylish?
