Chic After Fifty

This is a strange picture but I quite like it.

You know what happened? That yesterday when I left the office I collected the iPad, some papers I have to take home, my pen, the second telephone… and when I arrived at home I realized I didn’t have the iPhone with me! Well, I was sure it was in the office, so I wasn’t worried to have lost it. But what was I to do with my morning #selfieinthekitchen?

I guess you know I consider myself resourceful and I don’t lose my spirit very easily. I had the iPad with me, but I couldn’t connect it with the Bluetooth… don’t ask me why: I didn’t really try, since I had also to go to the bank to get some dollars for my trip.

So I took this picture in front of the mirror in the entrance of my flat. The mirror is an old and beautiful one: it belonged to my great-aunt who used to live in Desenzano del Garda (beautiful village on the Garda lake) and I have had it for more than thirty years!

I am wearing a pair of white linen pants (Stefanel) and a grey stripy little T-shirt (Subdued). As a belt, I am using a string belt from an old dress. And do you see the sunglasses on the drawers top? Here they are

I know they are too big. I know round glasses don’t go with my face. I just wanted them! They were less than 5 euros in a supersale at the store & Other stories, how could I resist????
