One of the great superiorities of blue over black, as a clothes color of course, is that there are an infinity of variations on blue.
I know that there no such thing as a one black. Especially in a bright light, there are all kinds of blacks: greyish, blueish, yellowish, reddish and so far. But you need a very bright light to note those subtle differences.
While with blue the variations are well visible. Oh, talking about visible: I just wrote a post on Giorni Moderni, about how and why women kind of feel invisible when they reach 50… it is not my case, but what do you think?
Coming back to the today #selfieinthekitchen and blue: I hadn’t decided about blue when I got up this morning. I actually was thinking about a white shirt, and I had already taken it out of the closet. But then it felt kind of chilly, outside, with the open window. What about pants instead of a skirt, with the white shirt? I came across a pair of pants I had bought in Livorno and never used, because it has been too hot and then I have been in California. And the pants didn’t seem to go with the oversized white shirt… so I decided for a tiny grey-blueish or blue greyish T-shirt I had bought in America. And I continued with blues… my very useful little Pennyblack cardigan (cotton and wool, perfect for the season)! True, the shoes are grey; but they fit, don’t they?
Finally, I added a belt with a nice and bold buckle, and the great-aunt pearl choker.
Have a nice day!
