Because of Facebook (or thanks to Facebook) everybody knew yesterday was my birthday. Not that I wanted to hide it! I think that if you decide to be on the social networks, you have to be yourself.

Well, in life in general, I am quite happy to be myself. And in my opinion the social networks are not that different from life: you have to be yourself. Which doesn’t mean that you are not keeping your privacy. You don’t share everything about your life; but what you share is true (age first).

Yesterday evening I went to visit my friend Maria Silvia: she is the owner of FeelFood, where you can find some truly homemade and tasty Italian specialities, sometimes even reinvented by her. I went there for dinner and after a good chat I got my present… would you believe it? Actually it wasn’t planned, I owe this to Maria Silvia. We were talking about a pedlar that used to visit the FeelFood shop late at night, and all the improbable stuff that Maria Silvia bought. Among them there were this very chic glasses: how could I refuse such a present?

Miss the #selfieinthekitchen? Say yes!

By the way, I am wearing jeans by DKNY, a sweater I made myself, a grey T-shirt by Zara and my beloved Barritos. Everything certainly improved by the green glasses.

Have a nice day!

Benvenuti su ChicAfterFifty. Nato 10 anni fa come blog di moda per signore, appunto after fifty. Dopo la pandemia la moda non mi è più sembrata così importante. E allora parlo di libri, di ambiente, di posti belli, di cose belle.
