Chic After Fifty

At first I thought of “Orange is the new black” as the title of this post. But then, knowing what kind of orange is this new black, I opted out. Not that I had seen the TV series. But I guess you know it is set in a prison… let’s stay out of it!

But orange is the color I have chosen for today’s #selfieinthekitchen. I started with the pants (Heavy project): I have bought them last year in Ancona, wore them quite often last winter and then left them in the wardrobe till the weather would turn cold again. Last summer in a store in Big Bear Lake I had bought a couple of tiny T-shirts, one of them a faded orange. You can see it underneath the cardigan, which is an old cachemire one (label lost, as a consequence). The Converse All Star are the leather ones you have seen on me quite a few times, and they also come from Ancona. By the way, I hope to go there soon enough, my wardrobe starts to be in need of new items!

The outfit is a sort of dress down Monday, #50chic and #chicafter50 but easy and décontracté!
