I like to take the train to work, in the morning, because I have time to read. At the moment my ride is quite short, so I will be happy to have a longer one when I will move to Monza. It will probably mean to wake up earlier and trying to get to bed earlier, but I’ll find a way to deal with that.
In the meantime, I appreciate what I have (it was one of the New Year Resolutions, remember?). And one of the things I like to read is The Guardian. I have a subscription on my iPad, and it is really one of the thing I wouldn’t give it up for anything in the world!
What do I find in The Guardian? Essentially, I find what I am not looking for. I give you the example of today so that you can understand me: I was “so to speak” leafing through the today’s issue and found an article on psychoanalysis vs CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy). I have always been interested in psychology, psychoanalysis and all that is related to our inner life. But I wouldn’t have gone as far as looking for an article on the subject. And this is what is great about The Guardian and all good and intelligent media: that they offer you food for thought, subjects to discover, ideas to explore.
Now back to fashion! I am wearing a dress I bought last year at the market in Ancona. It is an interesting color, mixed of green and blue, certainly #50chic and #chicafter50, and I was wondering why I wore it not more than a couple of times… but as the day goes on, I understand: it is just too warm for the office! I have paired it with thick stockings and the Dr Martens boots, preparing for the cold day ahead; but tomorrow I’ll go back to layering!
Have a nice day!
