Chic After Fifty

Maybe it is not serendipity. Maybe it is resilience. Maybe it’s just than when you have to do something, you do it.

I am glad to go away for the weekend and not to have to stay too long among those boxes, which are so heavy it’s even difficult to move them around the room! Plus I have put on sale the washing machine, and it probably sensed it, because yesterday evening, when I went to the bathroom to check if the washing cycle was finished, it had moved and it was right in the middle of the bathroom… how scary is that? Everything moving…

Well yesterday evening I did only one box. I was quite tired from a long day at work, I also had to finish a sweater I had made for my friend Patrizia in Livorno: since I am going to visit her next weekend, I really want to have it done for her. And it is a very warm sweater, that she will need in the coming months!

So while I am making my way among boxes, the today #selfieinthekitchen is black: black cropped pants (you have seen them more than once), black combat boots Dr Martens, black jacket (Antonio Fusco, the same I was wearing yesterday) and a little happy stripy sweater to keep my smile! And to keep me #50chic and #chicafter50!
