Yes, even the fashion bloggers have days in which they look at their wardrobe and think “I have nothing to wear“, meaning that they don’t what to wear…

Having been around for at least fifty years, I know that this feeling of not knowing how to dress is a clue, an indication that something about yourself is not quite right. Having been around for at least fifty years I am also aware that this something not quite right is related only to this particular day and moment. It doesn’t mean you are not quite right. It is something you have to study, looking deeply and honestly inside yourself.

But in the meantime you stand in front of your wardrobe in you underwear… or you have tried different combinations and none of them has satisfied you!

I’ll tell you what I do. I go back to basic. I will have the inspiration for a creative outfit another day. Maybe tomorrow?

So I chose a pair of black trousers (these are by Gap, I had them in Torino at the Salone del Libro), a blue-gray viscosa sweater (by Griffe Tricot), and a jacket by Antica Sartoria di Maremma. It is a corduroy jacket, it used to be worn by the “butteri“, the cowboys of Maremma; its only fault is it tends to lose its colour and leave it on my hands… The shoes are the usual Barrito and the bag is Orciani (I very much like its bags and belts, they are simple with a twist!).

Have a nice day!
