I am not a fan of these picture of feet and shoes. I don’t think my feet are one my best features. But look at these sandals: don’t they look innocent? Well they are not. They are just killing me!
Believe me. I tried them on. I checked the leather, the shape, the sole. I thought because they have so many binds the foot would stay in place. And it does stay in place. The problem is in the back: there is a strip that sort of dig up the skin just above the heel bone… a few step and you’re done, you have a wound that would take a week to heal. I have put a couple of band-aid, not too visible but still…
So I was asking myself: did the person who designed these sandals, and the person who made them, did they ever try them? Please, if by any chance you are reading this blog (I am very popular after all…) would you give me an explanation? Why I don’t have the same problem with the Birkenstock?
Here you can see the entire combination of today, a real “keep it simple”: white T-shirt (this is not Hanes but a strange brand, Totti de toi) and a blue bermuda-skirt by Zara. I also thought: do I have a penchant for clothes of a strange shape? I think I do!
I’ll try to walk as little as I can…
